Who would have ever thought that 30 gallons of gas would be a nice wedding present??
Am I the only one getting these gift card (SCAM) offers??

Congrats Ada..it's a whole different kind of fun. Jack, regarding your gift-cards, I understand that newly weds are registering for gifts these days at Neimans, Target, Pottery Barn and Shell Oil.

Wonderful news, Ada! I know you are floating in air right now.
I don't have any grandchildren yet. At least I better NOT have any, seeing as we are about to get our first kid married (in a month). We are all happy for you.

Congrats, Ada Ann. And the fun begins!!
I feel like I should go out and buy a lottery ticket. I am receiving a bunch of emails giving me gift cards from so many places, like JC Penney's, Lowes, B,B & B, Home Depot, Sears. I am just waiting for the one from Best Buy or Circuit City. I can't believe that out of all us, I'm the lucky one this time. Maybe I'll even answer that banker from Nigeria that wants me to "hold" some money for him. There are so many people on the internet who just want to give money away!!!!

ADA ANN -- Congratulations!  What great news.  Now, anywhere you go you will start looking at baby stuff and talking baby stuff.  My oldest daughter found out the sex of the 1st baby ahead of time, so I went crazy in advance  buying blue stuff.  The second one, she wanted the sex to be a surprise, so I had to hold myself back a little.  But, hey, what fun, and the older they get, the more fun they are.  I got to keep my 2 oldest grandkids last Friday.  We made a day of getting them haircuts, shopping, eating, and the movies.  I was worn out, but we had a great day.  Oh, and they are flying to Manchester, NH tomorrow and spending 8 days with their aunt & uncle in Bedford.

Ada Ann, that is the greatest news ever!  I am SO happy for you. Maybe you can send SNL a picture of the sonogram. (lol)

Southworth, try as I might, I am unable to make the Paris video play. What am I doing wrong?

McGee, I think maybe JD is pulling both our legs. And as for being megalomaniacal on the golf course, I suppose I fall into that category as well when it comes to water cannon fights, etc. Never apologize for having fun with your pals. I love hearing you guys give each other grief. It's a neck and neck race as to who talks the best smack. Buddy is definitely challenging for the trophy.

Well, Buddy, my hat's off to you for just being willing to get outdoors in the recent heat. But I guess at 6:00am maybe it is a bit cooler.

I'm curious to see Capt. Smiley's watercraft, but it will take some milder weather to entice me to Lake Conroe.

Take care, man and keep your license current. Wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. I've had three unpleasant visits to the dermatologist in the past few weeks - related to spending too much time in the sun back in the days of my misspent youth.

On August 18th, I go back to the doc to have some stitches removed from a hunk he whittled out of me just yesterday.

Remember the days when it used to be so important to lay out and get a tan? Pass the Coppertone ...

Big John- Had a 21' fiberglass boat went to a aluminum 19' Bass Tracker 90 Opti Max Merc. 1800 lbs verses 3200 lbs (with trailer) this gives me range of any Lake in Tx. and keep 40 + MPH on the water but around the DFW area Ray Roberts is the best all around lake.
John one last thing if you take Dru with you and she says she needs to go to the powder room hit the bank don't do as i did and pass the Folgers Coffee Can to Geogene.  Lord forgive me it's hot in this dog house

cABLE gUY- tell Barb the only thing from the Oliver Mag is my heart break Ann Knight signature who left me my Junior year to a move to Houston. Her and Brenda Melton (KMG cousin) are the reason of my lack of concentration of school work at Oliver.
