Comments: Don - Ricky lived on Ann Arbor behind our house on Neptune when we were born and then they moved over to Kushla when we were at Oliver. I think. He, Alton Day and I both went to Lisbon for our first semester of the first grade before going to Oliver when it opened. He went to Zumwalt and then SOC. Early on his parents owned Jones Laundry on Lancaster. It was right across from Lisbon. Not sure when they sold that. His parents were almost always in some kind of business. He had an older sister Donna. I believe if you lived on the North side of Ann Arbor, you went to Storey and if you were on the South side, you went to Zumwalt.
Comments: Jim - Ricky's name sounded familiar, so I looked up & found Richard Jones in the Jr. pages of our Den. I recognized him right away, but can't recall where all we crossed paths. Was he an Oliver > Storey > SOC guy?
Comments: Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to Linda and Sheryl. Yesterday, Aug 19, would have been Ricky Jones' 60th BDay. He was the same age as most of us, but was held back in the third grade because of excessive days out for illness. He would been a '67 grad, but dropped out in his Sr. year. He was killed in a car wreck at Kiest and Hwy 67 in April of '69.
Comments: Congratulations SNL for getting the move accomplished. Best of all, it sounds like you have a free pass not to cook for awhile. Enjoy it while you can.
Comments: SNL - Major congrats on getting moved-in, mostly, & managing to get online for a status report. I'm sure that Don will stop at nothing until he either has your DSL up & running or relinquishes his office to you. Speaking of cheeks, again, I can only imagine what those around you must suffer when you've been in 'moving-hell' & firing contractors, all compounded by a temporary lack of caffeine & internet access - yee-ouch! 
Comments: Hello GB friends!!! Tda is the 6th day without Internet . . . I can't take it!!!!     I feel like an addict gng thru withdrawal. Yes we got moved!! It was a fiasco & actually quite a story. The DSL works upstairs in Don's ofc but we're having trouble gtng it downstairs in MY ofc! This wkend Don will get it fixed for me. I'm upstairs using Don's laptop now.I still don't know if my old email add will wk or not... I won't know until I can get internet access and see, so don't send me anything yet! I sent most of ya'll (if I had your em add) a note w/my new address & pho #. Linda J - Happy B-day girl, hope it was a good one! Please come to our next mini!! Sheryl - Happy B-day to you too! WE certainly miss you at the mini's & hope to see you real soon!! Mike Dunn - Welcome back!! As soon as I get an email I'll ask you for your new info. Mike Collins - Oh my.... 4922 Kildare st. What great memories!! I'll always remember my add & pho # there for as long as I live!! Gordy will be please to hear you & Mario hooked up. Well, I guess I better go before I get hooked again! I've never gone more than 3 days without internet before, this is killing me. Ya'll keep talking and hey, lay off my friend! Bovie sweetheart, don't listen to those mean people calling you names. They're just jealous!  You know I love ya!!  Oh, the new contractor we hired after we fired the 1st one.... men showed up early yesterday and also tda. We actually have progress in the kitchen! Right now we sleep dwnstrs in the master BR., but we use one of the upstairs baths as master all tore up. We have NO kitchen (it's in progress) and we have another bath upstairs we've converted into a kitchenette! We HAVE to have coffee of a mrng!!   But by the end of next wk we may have a finished kitchen & nearly finished bath. "With God as my witness, I'll never move again!"
