Place: Richardson Comments: Carol - I've been thinking about you since yesterday. These Retina Specialist are good. I've been seeing one since May 2018. I have to go in few minutes for my follow-up visit with eye Dr but will call you when I get back. It will be fine & it's not as bad as it sounds. Prayers up!
Place: Edmond Comments: Consider them sent. ๐๐๐
Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Since some of you arenโt on Facebook - and since I need all the help I can get - here is part of a recent post from me. A few weeks ago a โmacular puckerโ was found in my left eye. On Wednesday I will have surgery to correct that as much as possible. The retinal specialist refers to the surgery as โroutineโ, but Iโm still very nervous (read that โscaredโ) about it. So - I will appreciate any good vibes that you can send my way, both for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thanks! Love to all. Stay well. โค๏ธ
Place: California Comments: Pretty grim reading on this site it seems; lots of sorrow. I wish everyone well as we all navigate this planet as best we can.
Place: Edmond Comments: I heard an interview with a nurse who said her patient, just before he died of COVID-19, said to her, โItโs fake.โ It isnโt.
Place: Edmond Comments: ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Everyone please be careful. I watch in horror as this just gets worse and worse.
Place: Richardson Comments: James, thank you for letting us know about Alton Day's dtr passing away due to covid. What a terrible thing to loose your child. Also leaving behind a dtr & fiance. It seemed so quick, went to hospital Wed morning and passed that evening. Prayers for Alton and his family as they try to manage this horrible time in their lives. I'm so sorry for his great loss.
Place: Carthage, Texas Comments: Alton Dayโs Daughter, Trisha Morris passed away this past Wednesday night from Covid-19 Coronavirus. She had not feeling well for several days and had had a negative test. Early this week she tested positive and went to the ER early Wed AM and passed away Wednesday night. She leaves behind a Fiancรฉ and a 17 year old daughter, Ashley and Alton. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Obviously devastated and still in shock.
Place: Allen. Texas Comments: Susan, Hope you recover soon and are back to your fun-loving self soon.
Place: Melissa TX USA Comments: Oh Sandy, no. I saw Erin's post last night on FB. I was praying beyond hope for his recovery. He was Ronnie's (Allen) closest friend for years and our best man in our wedding. This is so sad. I continue to pray for Martha and the rest of the family.
Place: Passing of Larry Lewis Comments: It is with a broken heart and with tears that I tell you Larry Lewis SOC'65 passed away this morning about 2:19 am. He had been very ill all year and been in/out of hospital since Feb. I knew Larry thru Gordy as they were lifelong friends and Larry was always on our black visiting Gordy. We ended up being next door neighbors after H.S. as he and Martha lived next door to be in our old apartment complex off Ft. Worth Ave in Oak Cliff. We've been good friends ever since. I'm so sad. RIP my friend, I will miss you.
Place: Cold in Richardson Comments: This is terrible news about our friend Susan Sunde! I can't believe she's been in rehab waiting for surgery for nearly 4 months and we didn't know about it. This is horrible!!!
Place: Edmond Comments: ๐๐๐๐๐โค๏ธ๐๐๐๐๐for Susan
Place: NH Comments: I just talked to Susan. She has been in the rehab facility for 4 months and she has been through hell. She fell at home in August and ended up in rehab. Her hip surgery has been cancelled several times because most of the hospital beds are taken up by covid patients. She also was in afib and had a blood clot in her leg. She is trying to remain sane, but it is hard for her. Because of covid, she hasn't seen Jake or her puppy. Keep her in your prayers.
Place: NH Comments: Everett posted on FB: I wanted to let you know that Susan Piland Sunde is awaiting hip surgery in a rehab facility. She has been having problems for several months and has been missing from FB. The surgery was postponed because of COVID so she is waitng for the Hospital census to decrease. She is bored but has her cell phone. Maybe you could tell everyone to call her and cheer her up. 817-233-9189. Thank you, xoxoxo |
