Comments: Don, nice to see that you son is home safe and sound. I'm sure ya'll have a lot of catching up to do. What a beautiful day today. I had lunch outdoors today and really enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.
Comments: Don - Great News and hope his readjustment goes well. Sandy, Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow. Unfortunately, like J. D. said, we all, for the most part, have had this time in our lives the last few years. Take Care.
Comments: Dandy Don L., congrats on the return of Greg. After you give him a big hug, buy him a cold beer. Bay Watch Capps, good time today. Five hours in a golf cart with the Botox Kid is cheap entertainment. I saw 3 thrown clubs, 63 curse words, and alot of missed putts. But he has a cute butt. My hat is off to you and Cold Cash Dagley, your Charles Barkley swings produced several booming drives. Cheezehead, your name comes up often during these golf games. Everyone wants the opportunity to play with you. I strongly suggested they plan on drinking alot.
Comments: SNL...as we have all discussed at one time or another, there is very little we can say that will truly soften the feeling of loss that you are experiencing. Having said that, Kathy & I share our condolences for the loss of your Father. We took time from our vacation and lit a candle at mass this morning. May God protect him.
Comments: Praise God Don...I am so happy for you and your wife...What a blessing...now if we can get all our men and women back home what a glorious day that will be. SNL hope your doing okay. Your In my thoughts and prayers always. I am back in Texas so if there is anything i can do for you pleas ask.
Comments: Sandy- I just read on the guestbook about your dad. I'm sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, please let me know. Charles
Comments: Son Greg is back in the USA!
Comments: It has been a while since my last post. Tax returns tend to keep me occupied this time of the year. First , let me convey mine and Joyce's condolences to SNL and her family. As several have said it is always difficult to say the final good-bye to a loved one. I think it is especially hard when it is a parent. Unfortunately many of us have experienced it and hopefully you and your family can take solace in knowing that he is now in a better place. Happy Birthday to all the recent birthday people. Congrats to all who have recently celebrated anniversaries. Really enjoy reading everyone's top ten. Maybe, I can find the time in a while to post mine. As several have noted, I think probably the best remembrance is the times that we shared doing things with our close friends.
Comments: Sandy - I am sorry to hear of your loss. You were a great daughter with the loving care and attention you shared with your Dad during his long tenure with this illness. What a comfort to know that he knows everyone now and joy in the reunion with God and your mother in Heaven. May God bless your days ahead with peace and comfort in the Grace you know in God. Hugs, Cynthia
Comments: Sandy, so sorry. Correct spelling for plural Daddy should have been Daddies, even though I knew you would know what I was trying to convey. Again, we are remembering you and your family. Love, Barbara.
Comments: Sandy, I read your guestbook from time to time and the thoughtfullness and caring you show for your classmates is quite evident and surely must come from such a wonderful man as your dad. I read John's website about your dad and am thankful for him and all our dads and parents that have made us what we are. There is no doubt that the Biblical generational blessings have been bestowed on you and your brother and I know all who know you are blessed by your kindness and caring. Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss as nothing can take the place of a dad.
Comments: Dear Sandy, It was so sad to hear about your losing your Daddy. The long good-bye is so hard, I know from our long hard good-bye to my Mother. Your sorrow is shared by all of us who love you so.
