Nance, your use of the H word is right on. But "how could anyone even know that?" ....Napoleon dynamite.

Continuing the story from page 4 of the GB, the rich man's Roval lived to be 30 and died. A friend of his told him there is an even more extinct bird than the Roval. "It's a Rari bird only found in a remote part of the Costa Rica Jungle. He spent in excess of 2 million dollars, but was finally successful in bringing the Rari bird to the states.

Unfortunately, the West Texas climate was too much for the bird to handle and he too died. The rich man loaded him in the back of McGee's truck and took him him in a mountainous range to say his fond farewell. As he was backing the truck to the ledge of a 300 foot cliff, McKee came along and said "man what are you doing?" The man told his sad story about thee exotic bird and Mckee look over the cliff and said I don't know mister....."That's a long way to tiparari".

JD, I sincerely hope I have your approval. Forgive me for not asking your blessing first, Godfather.  I was hoping I could borrow your cc for the honeymoon.

Thanks guys for the congrats. Mike and I are taking off the 20th through the 28th of this month for some R and R. My favorite destination would be Mexico but not while the swine flu is going around. Mike is surprising me with the destination but I know we will have a great time where ever we go. And yes, JS, I'm sure the whisks you presented me with at the mini last year were very instrumental in my "whisking" him off his feet. Thanks again.

Sachse and Firewheel.....sounds like Canada to me.

Southworth, your "another one bites the dust" comment reminds of Phoebe's line from a "Friends" episode when she announced her marriage; "..yes, it's true.  Sorry boys, this ride's closed."  Struck me as one of the funnier ways of getting the point across.

..and another congrats to Karen & Mike.

Congratulations Karen & Mike!  Where are we going on our honeymoon and when are we leaving?  I need to make some flowers to take with us!     I just know that you could not have nearly as much fun by yourselves so I know that you want us with you - just let us know when we are leaving.    You did tell him that when he married you he married the CLASS OF 66 - RIGHT!

Dr. Karen, I'm sure the "whisks" played a pivotal role.

Congrats to you both.

[Dang, another one bites the dust]

Karen, The MG reminded me of the sports car I had after high school but I don't mind getting worthless medical advice because the money I would pay you is worthless too.

Yes, Mike and I tied the knot on Wednesday, May 6th (Cinco de Seis). Mike's friend, a Rockwall County judge and part-time minister, married us at the Rockwall County Courthouse. We had a very nice but simple ceremony and will have a reception for our friends and families to celebrate with us when we get back from our honeymoon later this month. I like the new name much better too. Linda P, you are right on all three accounts. RW, it's an honorary title only, but don't mind giving free worthless medical advice if you want it.

Richard, the new home in Sachse just happens to be very close to the infamous Firewheel Mall that you have heard many classmates mention.

I will be hoping the best for our friend and classmate, Dane Thornton as he undergoes his chemo treatments. He is a super guy.
