Place: Richardson Comments: For those not on FB, Barbara Fugate spoke with Susan this morning and she will be moving back to her regular room sometime this next week. She was told she had Covid about a week before Christmas and it will be great for her to get back to her room & off the Covid flr. Great news to start the year! Thank you Barbara for the update!

Place: SOC 65 Comments: Sandy, just letting you guys know, Jeannette Schafer-Austinβs twin sons were recently in the hospital with Covid! They both are out now but Kirk was still having breathing problems. Might send up a prayer that Clint and Nette do not catch it.

Place: McKinney, Tx Comments: Sandy, I want to wish you and Don, and all of our great SOC classmates a very Happy New Year, 2021. π I know that 2020 was a tough year to get through for many of us in one way or another...so, Barbara and I are still keeping Vernon and Susan in our daily thoughts and prayers, hoping that they each can get back to better health soon.

Place: Richardson Comments: I'll take you up on that request Richard. As y'all will recall, Vernon got the news late Monday he was positive for the virus. On Tue he spoke with his Dr. He arranged for Vernon to get the anitbody serum on 12-31 at 11:00am. It takes an hour for the infusion. By late yesterday I received word he is feeling so much better. Great news that it worked fast and he's on the road to recovery quickly. That antibody infusion seems to be a miracle worker as I've read of so many that have the same great results. There's just not enough of it for everyone. So, Happy New Year and let's work to make it a better year for ourselves and our family and friends.

Place: Richardson Comments: As the last light of day ends this awful and deadly year, it seems only fitting it should be cold, raining and dreary all day and into the night. We've lost friends and classmates during this pandemic, which has taken a toll on all of us. I pray for a better 2021 and that the vaccine will help us put an end to this dreaded virus. My thoughts and prayers are of those we've lost and to those who are ill. May we all be able to gather once again by the Fall of next year. We aren't meant to be isolated. May each of you have a safe NYE and let's be thankful we are still here and able to start a new year.

Place: Rainy & Cold in Roichardson Comments: I just got off pho with Barbara Fugate. Susan Sunde has Covid! For those that don't know, Susan has been in a Rehab Center since Aug as her hip needs replacing and, for whatever reasons, she is still there and no surgery scheduled. Now, she has covid. Susan can't get around at all and will continue to be lying in bed. Please pray for Susan and Vernon to get better and get thru this. Prayer Bears, send those prayers up for our 2 friends!! |
