Place: Richardson Comments: Larry, to the best of my knowledge, Only Connie McKee (Ronney's wife) has died due to covid. Yes, Alvin was in the military and Don Lincoln will have all the details. He will be posting here soon. Alvin has had some heart problems and been in hospital couple times because of his heart but his wife said he had a heart attack this morning, 1-29-21, and passed away.
Place: KESSLER PARK, DALLAS Comments: Sandy, can you or Don tell me if he was one of the military veterans. I thought him to be an extremely nice guy. Also, was the heart part of a Covid problem? Do you have any numbers on those of our friends and classmates who have passed because of this awful pandemic?

Place: Kerrville Comments: So sad to hear about Alvin. He was a great and friendly guy in high school and now. Prayers for his family and friends.
Place: Richarson Comments: Our class has lost another classmate today. This morning Alvin Rogers passed away due to a heart attack. He was a good guy and will be missed. His wife, Diane, post the below message on FB this morning. "I lost my best friend this morning. Alvin passed from a heart attack. I had him for such a short time but I loved him with all my being and I know he loved me and that's something. Love you honey.... "

Place: Sachse Comments: Signed Glynda and me up with the Garland Covid site as soon as I heard about it. I think it was the day it opened. Received emails today with registration numbers, 30XX. Was told maybe as soon as next week. And Happy Birthday, Rick!

Place: Valentine addresses Comments: Good question Ada Ann. A few have moved but not many. If you have a question regarding addresses, send me an email and put the names. I'll verify if 50th Dir is correct but if not, I'll provide new address. I think Sammy & Sarah are the only ones that never gave me new address at the lake house. Also, I know Fay Pool and Karen Louton both moved in 2017. Place: Richardson Comments: Don't know if some of you read the post I made regarding sending Valentine's cards, so I'm re-posting it below. I've bought my cards and will be addressing them this week.
Place: Let's Do Something Fun!! Comments: Feb 14 is Valentine's Day! It's not just for lovers, it can be for friends you care about. Remember grade school when we decorated boxes and put cards in our friends shoe box! With all that's going on in our world today, what better time than Valentine's to send a card to someone you miss or care about??!! I'm not suggesting you go to Hallmark & buy those expensive ones ($4 to $7). Go to Dollar Tree. Their cards are all .50cents, the fancy ones are $1.00. Pick 6 or so friends you want to send warm wishes to and mail them. I hope many of you will do this, I am. I wish we could decorate shoe boxes and have a big party, but for now, the US Mail will have to do. Send a card, make someone smile! |
