Comments: Kid- I see you have your poker face on now. No way Jose is the budman is going to fall in that black hole. Keep the check but a way to shake the B/fingers is give him a ride in the pimp mobile, he likes that, cruse Fair park and when you come across a gang of gentlemen standing around a fire barrel offer them 2 quarters each of Colt 45's to babby-set the Fingers and bam he is gone. Then let the good times roll 6/12 and 6/13
Comments: Budman,,,,Oh..by the way..we throw in the Cheesehead J.D., But our policy is ...NO RETURNS ...Pistol Pete Gray is ready to kid some hinney....
Comments: Baywatch Budman Capps, Took a vote from the 66ers..We keep Cold Cash Dagley, The Cable Guy Fugate & Professor Smiley..You take Butterfingers McGee and a blank check..PLEASE ''''''''''''''''''''''The Kid CF
Comments: Thanks Ms. Shellito! I'm so glad you have joined us, but you have to look nearly everyday if you're gonna keep it. This GB moves fast & sometimes even I don't know what we're talkin' about!!
Comments: Thank you, Shortcake!! It is so nice to see how you all have stayed in touch, get together and have such fun in the guest book. Sandy, you do such a wonder job with the site. El Fenix, huh!!! Man do I miss good Mexican Food!! The first "thang" that I aways do when leaving the DWI airport is hit a restaurant for Enchilatas and salsa, nothing better!! (I always take the South Oak Cliff tour as well.) Dale Smiley, you never told me that Dan took you on the side, yes, you certainly did comply and you were always lots of fun!! I have attended the last two reunions and was hoping to see you and Yvonne. Was sorry to hear that you had lost your mother during the last one. Donnie Fugate, I do hope that Barbara is still in the very best of health!!! You all have fun on the golf course...
Comments: Bay Watch Capps, sorry I bailed on you guys yesterday, gotta make the cash register this time of year. Cold Cash Dagley is a lifer 66er', can't see the boy jumping in with with a bunch of wanna bees. Sounds like you guys used the same accountant as Bernie Madoff to fill in your score cards yesterday.
Comments: Shivashankar..... May I have the definition, please? Bud-man, Why wouldn't Donnie and I want to stay with the winners ( 66'ers) and get to divide that cash stuff y'all were talking about. Might help with the gas to get there. Us retired single-wing coaches are on a fixed income, you know.
Comments: Today's for-real National Spelling Bee ended with an eerie touch of cosmic kharma as 13 year old Kavya Shivashankar had the winning trophy taken away from her on a technicality. Initially she was declared the winner for correctly spelling "Laodicean". However in a ruthless move, 2nd place finisher 12 yr. old Tim Ruiter produced a copy of her Entry Form in which she'd misspelled her own last name - forcing the judges to yield to Tim's objection and declare him this year's champion by default.
Comments: Marshal Jack-A heads up on the whistle; when the bUTTERFINGERS throws his IOU's in the cash pot, blow it and call foul!!!!! The starter pistol - is for firing behind Smiley back when he puts, I've seen every one else try to put. Sorry 66ers- the Rock Star Cold Cash Dagley has been officially drafted into the class of 67, after a class act today on the links. He is rolling in too too many long puts and plays down the middle on long drives to play with the 66ers. This is a done deal. Kid - you can keep McGee and JD on the dark side, but I think the Cable Guy and the Professor should have an option in their 66 contract claus to jump ship to the bright side with the 67ers
Comments: Just wanted to thank everyone for the Birthday Wishes!!! Had a great weekend with Don being home. Looking forward to June 13th and seeing everyone!!!!!
Comments: Jack, I'm just trying to help by blaming it on your spell check. altho I am the bset speler in the clas. Karen and Dale didnt have to contend with me bekause I didn't now abot the spieling bee.
Comments: Pool Guy; Being a novice at this, I trust what you are telling me to acquire and bring to the "game". I thought all you guys used were clubs, balls and some kind of special shoes. So far I have gathered a whistle, a starter's pistol, a string of Black Cats (I think cherry bombs and M-80 have been out lawed), a whoopee cushion for JD, some pull-poppers. I haven't found a cattle prod yet. Coasty Don, you coming up for this? Do you have access to a prod? Still looking for the other things on your list. I'll make a trip to the party store and see if they have rattles and the other things this time of year. I thought golf was a quiet game. The things on this list only seem to have one thing in common, they make noise. As usual, I'm confused.
Comments: Ada, Sophie is soooo cute! What a great photo! She does look like you!
Comments: Ada Ann how the heck are you girl?? Hope your recovery is continuing as you work your way back to good health. I have to tell you . . . Sophie is soooo cute!!! She looks older than only 5 or 6 wks. Love her coy little smile! I found this link to a great photo of the Crest Theater! Martha Bass frm '63 shared it on the '63 site. Based on the photographer's note it was taken Jan 2008 & when he went back in Jan 09 it had been demolished! Click tis link!http://www.flickr.com/photos/lastpictureshow/2168264185/in/datetaken/
Comments: Sandy Joe, I always say "The best wood in my golf bag is my pencil." Valet and caddie service certainly sweetens the deal. Can't wait to tee it up with you real golfers. BTW, What is "cash"? Till then, " Hitting 6, yelling 4, and writing down 3" Smiley |
