Memo To Linda P.:

I regret that I didn't have/make the opportunity to visit with you at the June 13 mini. Perhaps, in person, I might have been able to dispell the somewhat exaggerated reputation of which I am an unfortunate victim.

As I recall, that was the same weekend Dale Smiley mysteriously set out to hike the Appalachian Trail.

Well, it's that time again for Sarah and I to make the ole trek to Surfside Beach. Ten days of playing in the gulf, napping, shopping, napping, eating, napping, reading Patterson and Grissom Novels and napping.

We leave tomorrow morning around 9:00. Will be back Monday the 7th.

Hoping Marvin moon Mullins and wife Shirley Morris Mullins can spend a night or so with us. Both are '67 SOC grads,

Everyone have a great 4th of July !

Steve and Diana -- Sorry for the loss of your mother; your family is in my prayers.  When we were kids growing up, who would have ever thought we'd be in this position in our lives.

Sandy and Richard -- happy birthday guys.  I hope that your "special day" was wonderful.

John S.  -- only YOU would mention the Argentina thing.

H a p p y  B i t h d a y wishes go out to Sandy Joe ‘Pool Guy’ McGee, today!  Will you be celebrating with SueSue today, or out chasing that little dimpled ball around some scorching golf course (maybe she'll consider buying you a new golfing outfit w/brighter colors, like flaming madras)?  Only buckets of beer will save you from heat stroke, so be sure to apply them liberally & have a great one!

BELATED  H a p p y  B i t h d a y wishes go out to Richard ‘Elvis’ Nance, yesterday!  Hope you have a great one, Richard, & that Mary Ann treated you to gifts & a nice dinner (even if a return trip to the ATM was necessary).  Good seeing you both at our recent mini -  best wishes & take care!

Steve, sorry to hear of your loss.  You and Diana and family are in my prayers.  I really enjoyed meeting Diana at the mini.
The last two weeks have been so depressing.
I wish it would rain and cool things off.
