Comments: Toni, Wasn't that a HOOT! So beautifully arranged! We happened to be headed into the area which grows almost all of the fruit and vegetables for Panama. Yes, we think we have found the right place, with coffee plants for personal production, too. Karen, we'll have to have another GNO. There's no way to tell all of the funny stories on the GB. Let's just say that we Texas ladies will not soon be forgotten!
Comments: Sorry to have missed the GNO brunch. I know it was great! Kathy Orr...two questions for you...just how much fruit was in the back of that truck, and did you find the perfect location for your B&B? Any word on your bro, Don? I'll be in touch with you regarding the birthday list. SNL, I need to speak with you.
Comments: Mr. Fugate, I hope you have a great turnout for the golf tournament and you raise a lot of money for this worthwhile project. Kathy, can we get a little more detail on your Panama trip than that? Please, we want to live vicariously through the undoubtedly adventurous, fun-filled details of your trip. ![]()
Comments: Attn Military Vets: Our SOC vets' website is currently experiencing technical difficulties. The link will not open the home page, but instead, displays: "Error 404 - Not Found" - translation: "Yep, it's FUBAR alright". Our webmaster, JD, is currently on business travel & will be unable to attend to this issue til he returns on 8/29. So, please be patient for the next coupla weeks while we await tech assist. In the meanwhile, I was contacted by a 'new' vet from our class, Donnie Fox. He actually reported the website issue to me on Sat. I've asked him to e-mail his military service info so I can at least update our roster.
Comments: OK all you lurking golfers. I am making an unashamed plug for a very special golf tournament Please Join us for the Brandon Michael Fugate Memorial Golf Tournament Friday, October 2, 2009, benefiting The BMF Project. Registration begins at 11am and Box lunches will be served. Shotgun start at 1pm and Dinner will be served at 6pm with Award presentations. The BMF Project was started in memory of Brandon, who drowned at Lake ray Hubbard on November 29, 2008. It was conceived by Brandon's parents and brother as a means to make a tragedy of losing a son and brother into something positive. The BMF Project is a 501 (c) (3) public charity whose mission is to raise money and resources for search and rescue agencies to have necessary technology, equipment, and training effectively perform their jobs. We support not only the groups that worked so hard during the 29 days Brandon was missing, but the goal is to help as many Search and Rescue (SAR) organizations as possible in support of their efforts. Along with this, educating the public on the water safety and hazards that many are not aware and providing emotional support to families who go through a search and rescue event are functions of The BMF Project. You may register online at our event website www.tournevents.com/bmfproject. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. If you have any question feel free to email me.
Comments: Sorry to have missed brunch. I know all had a great time and the food is always good there. I was doing the NaNa thing with my boys at their football game. Trip to Panama was outstanding.
Comments: NO comment, oops, that WAS a comment. Well, I think everyone else looks better when I have my eyes closed.
Comments: After looking at the GNO pictures, you ladies look so pretty it is hard to believe we graduated 43 years ago. I am glad ya'll had such a good time.
Comments: Okie Dokie - - Latest GNO photos are up. As anyone who has ever looked at the Get-Together photos knows, Rick Watts rarely has his eyes open in any of the pics. We decided to stand behind him Saturday and . . . well, judge for yourselves!
Comments: Donna, that confims it - - we are triplets! I was born about 7:35 am and Jerry claims he was born later in the day, thus making him the youngest! Guess that makes you the oldest! OK Rick - I'm gng to post them right now while I eat my sandwich! ![]()
Comments: My interest is peaking, I can hardly wait to see the picture that you took in my honor. My guess is that the subjects in the picture will not be Peeking.
Comments: Hey "Sis and Bro". Don't ya'll remember. I was there at Methodist with you two. I probably got there first since I was born at 12:45am. My dear sweet momma used to always say I was the best Christmas present ever. Don did you ever hear from Doug? Hope he is doing just great. One of these days I am going to make it to the GNO. The good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Maybe if I am really lucky I will make it to the BNO. hehehe Have a great week everyone. |
