Well . . .  Last night I went to the mountain, and the mountain is B I G !!  They had a FREE open practice from 6 to 8 last night at Cowboys Stadium & parking was $10.  I figured it would be the only time I would be able to get inside the stadium so we left work at 3 & headed out.  They had lots of activities in the Plaza frm 3 to 5 & doors to the stadium opened at 5.  It was fantastic & so much fun!  We sat at the 48 yd line on the lower deck seats & took it all in.

Bobby,
In fourth grade I was in Mrs. Bradford's ( no relation I hope-she was mean) class at Clara Oliver sitting up straight and doing my sums and learning my manners. Occasionally I wondered what Sharon Todd was doing in the fifth grade. Oh, and I was still gloating from the 3rd grade spelling championship.

Great news about MR Dane! I need your prayers ! My Sister, Judy, Has had MS for a long time. She has begun to drop things using her right hand. She went to a neurologist and after scans , discovered lesions around the brain. Her headaches have been so bad, it just about blows the back of her head off.She has been "twitching" with her right side. My mom's health is an issue again. So pray for both of them!

I want to congratulate all who have had birthdays, anniversaries or fantastic lab test results like Dane & Ada Ann. To those who remain on our prayer list, I continue to light candles at Mass every week...my priest says this class must be very close as he has never made so much money from one parish member.

Our Military website was disrupted for probably close to a month. As I have been out of town so much over the last month I have not been able to access the web company and ascertain the problem until today. Not sure what happened but they assure me the problem has been corrected and will be back on line within the hour.

Also as a note...the site has been a little unstable and the company is currently attempting to determine why...they say it is not me...so as bad as I am about doing things correctly when making changes...I'm glad to hear it was not me.

Once we determine that the site is stable again and my changes will stay in place...I will start reconstructing the mishaps and get it back to near completion. If anyone needs to update their info please send to Don Lincoln first as his data bank is my first line of defense for lost data...this includes pictures.

I too have been hit with a personal situation that has taken much time since I left Dallas early the day of our June get together. It appears, however, that life is beginning to stabilize since then and Kathy is firmly on the way to normalization. Sorry I missed the group in June and will try to make next year God willing.

Got note from Dane & he wants everyone to know how very much he appreciates the prayers his SOC friends have sent on his behalf!  His last chemo was yesterday, 8-26!  He was told that his bloodwork shows the Leukemia to be GONE, but he goes next month for a CT scan & bone marrow test to confirm.  Congratulations to Dane on a good fight & for winning the battle!   We love you & will pray for an excellent rpt on final tests!!

Hi Ellyce, I have missed seeing you at Lowe's. I didn't know you retired, I just thought you weren't working when I was there. I guess you will start traveling now like Karen "shotrcake".

Watch your tone, Mr. Hawkins. Some day down the road you might develop a golf-related injury that requires a "panel" decision. As a former employee of Southwestern Life, Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Dallas), and Prudential (Houston), it is entirely possible that I may be called upon to sit on said panel.

So John, are you in the process of growing a small square mustache and applying for the job of death panel Czar??
