Mrs. SNL, did I understand you are looking to match an existing Drag Pattern? I will see the Botox Browning boy in the a.m. I'll have him give you a call.

Yes I have done faux finishes and skip trowel texture before. I love the results but it's best not to take on too much at a time as I obviously have done. SNL, it's pretty hard to exactly match another's handiwork when it comes to skip trowel texture since everyone has a different touch. Maybe I will take a look at what you have sometime in the future to see if I can come close. If so, I will teach you how to finish the job. My sore back tells me I am in no shape to take it up as a career.

Gee, JD is awfully mellow.  I'll take some of what he's having.

SNL, it's really me...I just don't want to give any false hope for myself...I've been fooled before. You have a better overall team...If we make the playoff's this year...it will be because everyone else slipped. So please, SNL, hold your head high...I submit you will have a better record at the end. I still say good luck...and no Jack, I'm not smoking that stuff anymore because the Medical Dose does not cover being crazy...as my disability states.

Go Cowboys...please remember, I sold Corn Dogs at the 1966 Championship Game held in Dallas...

OK, who's signing JD's name & what happened to JD???

Let's face it . . .  Sunday night the best team won.  In the NFL on any Sunday, any team is capable of beating another team regardless of their record!  Unless of course you're Detroit!!!

My dearest friend, Happy Jack. I must admit that I am in shock over the Dallas - Green Bay outcome in the football game. I was traveling to Charlotte on Sunday and did not see most of the game. But when I got off the plane in Charlotte, I calmly walked to the closest bar and discovered that we were leading the game.

I asked if the entire Cowboy team got sick and was playing their 3rd string. Sandy, I'm sorry. I still believe your team will have a shot at the playoffs...especially more than my beloved Packers. Am sorry we placed a dent in your quest. Keep going, I'm sure you will make it.

Happy BD everyone!

I'm beginning to understand that we need a revolution in this country to stop our government from spending us into the biggest global financial crash the world has ever seen. Think about it...but don't be afraid...we can and will take back our country.

God Bless America!

Yeah Shortcake, if I'd know she was that handy with a trowel I'd have invited her over for a little bartering session!  KMD, can you texture a wall to match an existing drag pattern???

She could have offered to come over and help you with all of your painting and redecorating when you were moving in huh Sandy.

My Gosh KMD - I'm getting tired just reading about what you're doing!!    Sounds fabulous though.  Have you done skip trowel before or faux finishes?  I'm impressed!!

Happy Birthday (yesterday) to Everett and Tommy. Hope it was exceedingly enjoyable for both of you.

I spent my day off yesterday painting my dining room (the first coat at least). It's a three step faux finish and I hope I have enough back left to finish the job. I also got the bathroom painted after skip troweling texture on the walls a couple of days ago. Still need to glaze it. I reupholstered my dining room chairs and still need to make the matching cornice board. Why did I start so many projects before Thanksgiving? (Groan)

Jack - Good thing I have very low blood pressure, if not, I might have blown an artery Sun night!!!  I was so aggravated I went to bed after the game & turned off the TV . . .  didn't even watch the sports highlights.   I always watch the highlights! Now with Colombo & Hamlin out & several injured players . . .  not looking too good!

I'm really worried about JD. Its been three days and no comment about the Packer game. Certainly not the Cheesehead we know! Come on, JD, hit us with your best shot, we can take it.
SNL, you had better not read JD's post. You need to keep your blood pressure down!!!!

DWS Probably needs to clean-out his inbox - like mine, sometimes: "over quota".  He's probably been so busy loading us up with good stuff that he may have forgotten to pitch some of the replies & other incoming, or just hasn't had time to forward it first.
