Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Everett Richardson & Tommy Barr, for 11/16 (only a few min. from now)! Hey, Guys – It’s a few minutes early, but almost Mon., your big day. We hope y’all are planning to celebrate a great one, whether you’re kickin back for a day off or getting out to do something you enjoy most (or avoid something you enjoy least). Here’s hoping you have a great one, regardless - best wishes!
Comments: Folks - Here's a personal recommendation for a very enjoyable holiday movie. If you liked the 'Polar Express', you may like this one even better - Disney's 'A Christmas Carol' in IMAX 3D: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/achristmascarol/ I think the graphics & animation detail are the best I've ever seen. Plus, it's based upon an old Charles Dickens classic, so you already know the general story line. Kathy & I both thought it was great.
Comments: JD - The only reason the Cowboys came to Green Bay today was to taunt the Packers with the idea of having a chance to 'skunk' them. Of course, the naive Packers fell for it & the 'Boys crushed that idea with only 0:38 remaining on the clock in the 4th qtr by scoring their only TD. They only needed one to kill the 'skunk' - another dream vaporized. ![]()
Comments: Now, Happy Jack, thanks for checking on our knowledge of hunting laws. However, you can rest assured that I do know not to hunt at night.( unless we are after coyotes) That is why I took this buck Before dark. By the time I got my tag punched correctly & I called Dale to bring the Trail Hand to load the deer, it was getting dark. All was done legally- as always! Photo time came after Dale, Bob & Zan joined me. A fun time was had by all- especially me! Zander told me that he would be hunting with me from now on!! The wisdom of a 4 yr old??!! Fun
Comments: Mr. Smiley; are you aware hunting at night is illegal? As is spotlighting deer? Makes no difference if you are aware or not. The law says ignorance is no excuse. Which one of y'all is going to jail??
Comments: Southworth, you forgot the greatest JS of them all, Jack S%#t.
Comments: Have you ever noticed the frequency with which those bearing the initials "J.S." have risen to greatness? By way of example, consider the likes of: Jonas Salk Jessisca Simpson ... and of course, John Shaft! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfK-UzQ48JE
Comments: Thanks, Karen, we have been having a great time !
Comments: Must be the Benadryl daze----meant to say Steve's Dad is in heaven with him for sure---was a great guy just like Steve, and so sorry for Steve's family's loss.
Comments: JD, God bless you for all your sacrifices in Viet Nam. We can never thank you veterans enough---all of you. So sad to hear about your loss of your Daddy Steve. He sounds like he was a wonderful man. On a lighter note, Susan you crack me up! Loved it! And big Bday wishes to Mr. Lincoln and Mr. Bobby!
Comments: Oh, Susan...you don't know how I needed a laugh! Thanks
Comments: ![]() Is this guy a total Dumb A** or what!
Comments: Bobby, Happy Belated Birthday!
Comments: Good shooting Yuvonne. That will give you some good meat for a while! My grandson is going to be jealous when I show him this picture. Poor Bobby caught up with me on his BD yesterday. He enjoys those four mths that I am "older" then him so to speak. Now he said he feels like he is falling apart! He is a year behind us in school - just a baby!!!!! ![]()
Comments: I got a couple of "iPhone" messages from Dale today. He and Yuvonne have gone all "pioneer" on us and are living off the land in Coleman. They have two herds of wild hogs that roam the range so they got the idea to use grandson Zander as hog bait. As luck would have it, Weds. evening an 8 point deer came in to investigate and Yuvonne lowered the boom on it. Weighed in at 144 lbs. (the deer, not Yuvonne). Earlier, Dale took down what is either an 85 lb. hog or the neighbor's German Shepard (see pics below). http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/deer-coleman.jpg http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/ranch15.jpg |
