Sandy Lynn, I really like your flashy new homepage graphics for the season. Brought a little smile to my face.

Jack -- I saw the "Lost Tapes...."  I thought that it was very good also.  It was interesting that the commentator talked about Mrs. Kennedy's bright pink suit.  In one scene, I think that the Kennedy's were exiting Air Force One and the commentator said that usually the President exited first, but he let Mrs. Kennedy exit b/f he did.  Jerry Hill, one of the policeman at the Texas Theater (I think) goes to our church and I he's about 80+ years old now.  If you have last Sunday's DMN, his picture and wife's picture is in the paper for being married 60 years.

Well it is Thanksgiving and a time that brings for our family both tears of sadness and tears of joy. This weekend marks the time when we lost Brandon and we shed tears of sadness for his loss.
But this time also brings tears of joy for all the things we are thankful for. Among these is the love and support that our family has recieved during the past year from our dear SOC friends. We love you all for your caring and your friendship. It means the world to us.

We wish all a great Thanksgiving and hope all of you remember all the things you are thankful for.

We love you all and God Bless.

Jack,
I didn't see the show about Lee Harvey Oswald but can't help but wonder if you are watching The National Geographic channel hoping for a film on African Native women and their lifestyles. I'm sure you remember the August edition of 1962 in the Zumwalt library.

Been meaning to ask all day if anyone saw "JFK The Lost Tapes" or something like that title last night on National Geographic channel? It was mostly tape (black & White) of the local broadcast in Dallas on Nov.22, 1963 and the audio that went with it, It was not all the stuff we have been seeing over and over all these years. I found it very interesting. They referred to Lee Harvey Oswall as Lee H. or Lee Harold. The old skylines and Parkland was so much smaller and it was open around it. Keep an eye open for when it is on again and watch or tape it. Wes Wise and Jerry Haynes are reporters during it. I'd like to hear your thoughts about it.

Happy Jack - Last week I put down $921.15 on new clubs to put Butterfinger's 2 bucks in my pocket. I can say money well spent for the bragging rights.

If anyone seen a little red wagon with "boomer sooner" on it pulled by a little pony with no rider aboard call Norman Ok. OU. Last seen in Lubbock Tx getting a whippen. PAYBACK !

This Thanksgiving hugs to all my SOCites as the year comes to a close, it's been a fun year and I hope we continue enjoying the friendship in the years to come. My God bless all !!!

Susan: Thank you! Remind me to give you a big hug next time we are together!
SNL: I meant what I said and I said what I meant. I'm not slow, I'm through. Some people just don't have the same stopping point I do.
Smileys: I wish I could believe that it was the Mrs that penned those kind words, but I am inclined to think it was the ever gracious Professor. Thank you (I'm still not paying you that money)
Southworth: I'm not a Republican. I'm a Conservative!!
Butterfingers McGee: I don't how I can be a rule breaker, I play the way you and The Kid teached me. As for cheating, I keep score the way I learned looking over your shoulder; count the number of strokes to get the ball in the hole. Subtract 2 and write that number down. Carry over the left over strokes to the next hole. If you run out of holes and still have numbers, you leave them there until the next time you play that course. I guessed that is why we have never played the same place twice.
JD: I think you misremember who was the leader. Look in the mirror and see if that reminds you. Buddy has come up with a new way of gathering money. Something involving 18 cards, one being a joker and a golf score sheet..Only a twisted mind....
Donna we are all in your corner too!

I am getting behind on the GB again. Happy belated birthday to Larry "The Bear". Hope it was fun.

I am off today, tomorrow and Thanksgiving. I am working feverishly to finish all my projects, do Fall cleaning, and have Thanksgiving dinner prepared and on the table before the guests arrive Thursday. Then it's back to work on Friday.

Mike is hanging window treatments, I am painting the bathroom. Well I better get back to it while I can still move. Hope all have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. Donna, you can count on me to say a prayer for you too, as well as all our beloved classmates who are facing personal difficulties.

I hope Jerry adds a flag inside the stadium too, but I have no trouble saluting the biggest flags ever displayed on the humongous HD screens during the National Anthem.

JD i I would sure appreciate one of those candles.

SNL  I am so computer illiterate that it blows me away how you always make the guestbook so beautiful.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and for you Sandy I hope your Cowboys win. As long as my Steelers do too. Seriously the top of my thankful list, besides my beautiful family, is all my friends from SOC. You are all so special and you make laugh reading your posts. Love to all of you.

Ladies & Gentlemen

(and only the true gentlemen...Mr. McGee)

Having known Jack (Mr. Happy to most of you), for a long time, I would like to share with you that he is not only "Wise Beyond His Years"...he is an extremely "Intelligent Individual" as well...who else could lead me through the church as the service was about to begin and out the back door, and his mother never knew...and she was the treasurer or clerk or some big wig...I was just one of his sheep...or flock as we learned from the Bible.

Jack...and if you are playing golf with Da Bears...congrats they haven't taken you for all you have...because McGee's middle name is "CHEATER" McGee. Or is that skeeter mcgee?

May all have a great Thanksgiving Holiday with their families and I'm still lighting candles for those who need God's help. So if you need a little help...let me know...it has become a ritual I deeply enjoy doing for all my friends.

Jack, to the prior demeaning descriptions of slow, cheap, and cocky - I will add "Republican".

SNL, I have to work Thursday but plan to knock off at 4:30 Friday afternoon from my low-paying occupation as "Internet Pest".
