Comments: SNL...good luck on Sunday...I personally am still angry with Mr. Favre as he tried to disrupt our team last year with his crap when he went to the Jets and tried to make it difficult for our GM. Well after 2 seasons as the QB, we are all now big fans of Mr. Rodgers and his Neighborhood. Yesterday's game was one of the most entertaining I have ever watched...and even though I would have like a better outcome...I'm not ashamed. The Packers are the youngest team in the league and truly believe we have a great future...maybe even a rivalry like the boys and packers of past years...LOL. Jack, thanks for the call last night..it was a pleasure to talk to an old friend and discuss the game. Good luck SNL...
Comments: Donna Rexroat Holman sent me a note tda & she has been very very sick since Christmas day! Doing a little better now. Then the wk after Christmas all 3 kids got strep throat!! She wanted me to tell all those that helped her & the kids out for Christmas . . . Thank You so much!! She said she wanted to send ea person an email thanking them but then got so sick she couldn't even get out of bed. She & her dtr, Jill, really appreciated our help & I think it's great that this grp of classmates always look out for each other. You take care Donna & you'll be in my prayers.

Comments: Catching up again. Toni, so happy to hear the good news about Hudson! I think the orange balls that Jack has been "acquiring" are definitely from the driving range. Put them back, Jack. Tsk! Tsk!  Happy belated birthday wishes to Sally, Mike, Ron, Doc and Janet. Whew! That's a lot of birthdays! Loved the Cowboys game Saturday night. Should be a great matchup against the Vikings next week. Go Cowboys!

Comments: NEWSFLASH: It appears that our little Hudson may be graduating from the NICU and the Baby Steps Program sooner than they anticipated as he is now taking 8 bottles by mouth daily and keeping them down!!!! He's around 5 lbs. 8 oz. now! As I write this....he may be coming home sometime this week! Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts everyone!

Another classmate that we don't see too often and not nearly enough has a birthday today - Janet Hohhertz Bronstad! Happy Birthday Janet! Jack, I've been asking everyone I know and some I don't about the "colored golf balls" Our pro-instructor says you never use colored balls on the course - only on the driving range and during lessons so that the student's golf balls can be distinquished from the other players. It appears that the colored balls made a big splash (forgive the pun) some years ago but have lost their popularity lately. I understand that Taylor Made even sells red golf balls! Everyone I ask says not to use orange golf balls as they're too easily lost in the rough during the fall months! That and a nickle will buy you a cup of coffee as to what I know, but I've become like a sponge for golf info! If you want to use the colored golf balls, I say "Just Do It"!! Sounds like a Nike commercial doesn't it?..ha!ha!

Comments: Don - we are still basking in the glow of Saturday night!! What a great game & wasn't that Home Team Crowd wonderful. I even slept in my jersey Sat nite as didn't want to take it off. Its been a long dry spell . . . so let's enjoy this. GO COWBOYS!!! BTW, that Cardinal /Packer game was something else!! Good grief what an exciting game & it went down to the wire plus OT with an odd twist at the end. |
