Sorry JD, but I fail to see the humor in your story. Is it true that "bathing suits" in WI are what is called diver's wet suits in the rest of the world??
Hope the Pool Guy and his guest workers are not trying to work in this weather. IF he is I hope he is using the electric long underwear Bovie gave him for Christmas....just don't get WET!

The country must be having a heat wave out east and in the Dallas area...woke up to 12 degrees and snow that will eventually drop some 12-18 inches by tomorrow noon.

And Jack, Kathy appreciates your attempt to blame the frigid air down your way as my fault...bust asked you to remember that I blow nothing but HOT stuff...

Also, she wants everyone to understand that she is doing all she can for the economy...or at least she thought so...she had a truck load of young men from Texas show up this morning answering the Help Wanted AD she placed in the DMN to meet in Kenosha for cash paying jobs at a minimum $25.00 P/HR.

However, she failed to understand that when the Help Wanted AD stated bring your own shovels she meant SNOW SHOVEL...the guys brought dirt digging shovels...also she forgot to advise them to dress warm and speak English...

They arrived at 7:04 am...they left at 7:20 am as our discussion was all in sign language as we could not understand them with the exception of Senorita and the one finger salute.

Can't say we didn't try. But we did hire several Italians out of Chicago's south side to protect our house (24-7) for the next month...just in case there might be problems.

My advice:
DRESS IN LAYERS!  MANY!
Wear warm socks and warm boots, if you have them!

AND, yes, watch the game tonight.  Hopefully, the good excitement will keep us warm.

Charles, so glad to hear that you are home...stay warm and don't venture outside!  I heard a funny on KLUV yesterday morning...they said be sure to bring in your pets, your plants and your grandparents!  Well, I thought it was funny until I realized they meant all of us...lol!  We all sure give a new meaning to grandparents don't we?  Ha!Ha!  We're definitely not like our grandparents!  We've all still got it...we've just gotta find it!  Stay warm!

That is GREAT news, Charles!!!  Did they release you or did you just leave??  Hope you are feeling and doing better. If you need anything, just let us know.
Strange story, Richard. How weird is that?? Survive the A bomb twice and his wife a survivor too. And they live to be in their 80s and 90s. Maybe radiation is good for you. You try it and let me know. LOL!!

I am catching up on the GB today. Happy Birthday to my friend Toni. Hope it was great. Also belated birthday wishes to Jimmie H.

Jack, to answer your question, we really do like the new Mac computer. We have not had time to attend any more training sessions to learn more of its capabilities but hope to do it soon. There just isn't enough time in the day anymore it seems.

Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Cowboys/Philly game last Sunday. What a great game. Mike got playoff tickets but I'm not going to be able to get off work this time (I work until 7 pm) so Mike's son will be the lucky recipient of my ticket.  At least I can see it at home as soon as I get off work.

JD, keep working on blocking that cold arctic blast from coming our way. And congrats to Green Bay on the outstanding job they have done. I TOLD you Rodgers was going to be a good QB.

Jack, you can start with this.  The guy must have had "some" Irish blood in him for good luck.
