Our guestbook has been a tremendous success through diligence on the part of our webmaster, Sandy Lynn. We have an amazing participation of classmates almost 44 years after graduation, and in many cases, we are closer now than back in '66. I wish your class the same success.

JD - We've also gone thru this bk in 2004! Stephanie was due in mid Dec but put on total bed rest in Aug. In Oct put in hospital due to lots of complications. Triplets born Oct 19!! Boys both slightly over 3 lbs, but April less than 2 lbs. 7 wks in NICU for the boys & 8 wks for April. It's a scary situation, but she's in the BEST place (hospital) & will get constant monitoring. Beth & your entire family will be in my prayers.

Our daughter-in-law, Beth, has been admitted to Fredoert Hospital in Milwaukee with high blood pressure and swollen body parts since Wednesday night. There is a name for the condition, but I can't spell it so I won't try.

As you may remember, Beth is due with our 2nd grandson - Ryan Joseph on or around March 30.

Beth only has one kidney which makes this even harder and a little more difficult as she can not expel fluids as well as most and has begun to swell up in certain places...causing more concern.

The condition is of concern as it can cause the baby to be born early...and Ryan is somewhere between 28-29 weeks and only at 2 1/2 lbs.

Latest info is that baby and mother are doing well but Beth will have to stay in the hospital until the baby is born...when ever that may be as we have been told that it could be tomorrow, two weeks, a month...but that she will not go full term.

We are optimistic but more worried about Jacob feeling abandoned...and Mom the same way. We are going to connect them visually by computer and Jacob will visit his mom about 4 days a week...and do the computer thing the rest of the time.

Toni, I know you have been through this, so with your outcome being so good...I am hoping ours will be the same. I was pleased to see that Hudson is doing so well.

The Doctor says we should not worry, but anyone with grandchildren and young family members know that is absolutely impossible.

Will provide updates as they come...and will open a fresh bottle of Grey Goose once all is complete...

I hope this does not come to our class in 3's...

Happy belated birthday, Mike! I'm sure Sue cooked up something really special for you!

Thanks everyone for all of your kind thoughts about my newest grandone. You know, each one of my grandchildren are very special to me but for some reason this little fellow has touched my heart in a way that's difficult to describe. It's amazing how a little life can bring everything about "family" back into perspective! It brings a tear to my eye each time I think about this little miracle.

On a different note, I have 2 items to tell you about.

Diane McCord Langston's Mom, Mary McCord, passed away Wed & obit in DMN tda. Diane's older sis, Mary, is frm SOC '63 & I see her at the SOC luncheons. She was named after her Mom so don't get their Mom, Mary McCord, confused with the SOCite. BTW, Diane passed away in Aug 2002.
BTW Sandra Mc - the family is staying at your HIE!!

On another completely diff subject. . . Website Renewal is coming up shortly, the end of Feb! I've found that by renewing for more than 1 yr at a time the savings are substantial. I'd like to make a special plea to the people who look at the website & use the GB, yet have never contributed. I've always thought if 40 people would send $20 ea we wd hve enough for a l-o-n-g term contract. But fortunately for all of us, we do have a solid core of people who send their $20 and more!!

If you like viewing the '66 Site & GB and want to help keep it around, please send a contribution. Don't make ck out to me, MAKE CK PAYABLE TO: SOC '66 Fund & mail it to me. Full name & address are in big letters at top of the DONATION pg. On Mar 14 our site will celebrate 6 years!! The site is always changing & is kept up to date.
