Comments: Rain rain go away, its been raining here off and on since late July, the ground is rotten and the hay has mildew. Ranching is not for the faint at heart. The Horses hoops are so soft that we don't dare ride, only 4-wheelers. Dale, there is a Auction every Saturday night here and the market is so low on Horses that its almost a give a way. Also the market on Cows are down. So much for the Farm and Ranch report.
Comments: The old '65 site is finished! It will come down soon. I got a request, as did all the webmasters, to change the url. I did it yesterday. I suggested they post a note advising of the closing of the old & directing people to the new. For those that missed it, New '65 site is http://www.soc65.com It has a GB, so give 'em a shout out!
Comments: SNL do know if 65 is going to have 2 sites or are they closing down the "old" one? I have'nt seen anything indicating one way or the other.
Comments: Rick, I'm standing out your house singing Happy Birthday. Hope you enjoyed it. Go ahead and take tomorrow off for your birthday. No sense putting it off till Saturday. Hey Doc, will you be playing behind a chicken wire fence at that "club"? Wish I could make it, but I am not sure my being ban from GBC is over yet.
Comments: Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I think I'll take Saturday off to celebrate. SNL, I sent you a check but the money went to Hati instead, Can you call over there and see if they have any left ?
Comments: Live in concert The Old Curmudgeons Band With Robert Faries and David Mitchell March 20, The Show Place, Gun Barrel City Texas. $10 at the Boor BYOB
Comments: OK, here's a qucik PSA. Class of '65 has got a new website! Go to http://www.soc65.com to ck it out. New webmaster & new site! If you're at work, you might want to turn the volume down! It comes on playing the Fight Song rather loudly . . . Nice site! Dale - I pray Yuvonne doesn't read this GB!!!!! You're a dead man!
Comments: I took my 7 year old grandson to a horse auction held in Coleman. As I moved from horse to horse I would look at their teeth and rub their legs, rump and breast. Trenton asked why I did this and I explained that If I bought them a horse I had to check it out closely to make sure it is healthy. He got this worried look on his face and said "PaPa, I think the UPS man wants to buy Grammie.

Sue, sorry about that but I did get something in the mail about my memorial tribute which indicated Mike's mom was at the location on Forest Ln. Again, I'm sorry about that! Happy birthday Rick Watts! Hope it's a great one!

Comments: Happy Birthday greetings to young Rick W. I feel confident that 2010 will be a year in which nobody will break into your storage shed, nor will the Appraisal District surprise you with a bill for back taxes on your homestead. [however, 2011 may be a little iffy]
