Comments: Hello to all my old (sorry)SOC buds! Just learned of site.I having mixed feelings after seeing names of all those gone to glory.Anybody heard from Mary Pat Berkeley? She was a dear friend back in the day.
Comments: Catch up time and as always a hoot. Buddy, happy belated b-day and the same to any others missed in the past few months. Is there anyone out there that can do a "weather" dance and make this cold stuff go away????
Comments: Well, at least someone sent me roses! Thanks SNL
Comments: SNL -- I decorated my house the end of January for Valentine's Day. Must have had ESP that we were going to be having such dreary weather after Christmas. I thought that today was going to be a sunny day, but it's barely out in Duncanville. Oh, there's the sun again. I know that I saw it at 7:15 am. I think that the roses background is cheery and maybe will provide some HINTS to our guys (if they need hints by now). Or jog their memory.
Comments: Rod Savage, (were you named after a Rock Star?) If you send someone to see Happy Jack, tell him to bring a lunch, it will be a long day. Having seen him swing a golf club, he'll be tough to handle. Come to Dallas sometime, we would love to see you.
Comments: Remember Jack, I can find someone equally as disturbing as your guy and send him to see you, so maybe we had better call a truce before we get too deep.
Comments: Sandy - I love the roses. It was quite the surprise when I logged onto the site today. Roses and Sunshine - what a great combo!!
Comments: OK Rod. After that remark, you know that guy whose picture I sent you that contacted me looking for you? I'm gonna call him up and tell him where you are and how to find you!!! LOL Ron, Cheesehead may be bringing the weather to your area. You know that is his territory, don't you? He probably brings jars of it with him and turns it loose so he'll feel at home while he's there.
Comments: SNL, the lovely roses should be a gentle reminder to all not to forget your sweetie on Valentine's Day
Comments: You're right RN, after more than 40 yrs . . . I'm sure it's just a "rumor"!! Besides, I think statute of limitations has run out! Wow Rod, glad you like the roses! But the fact remains . . . it's not my website, it's the class website. Therefore, you & all the others who support this site & the GB have a say in how it looks. I'm just glad some of you noticed! But I am gng to try & refine it. My preference wd be to have half as many images. But I haven't found that option yet! P.S. RN, you just said the 4 words I love to hear, "Checks in the mail". ![]()
Comments: Ok, SNL, Who told you that?...was it Mary Ann?...Darci?...it's only a rumor anyway. By the way, check's in the mail....I've been out of town for a bit.
Comments: Sandy, I think the roses are a very nice touch, as are all of your decorating efforts, so please continue. If there are some who don't like it, too bad, you started the site and that gives you the right to decorate as you see fit.
Comments: Thank you Richard! ![]() Hey, I'm glad that story had a happy ending. I was worried the sheriff was gona turn out to be from Oak Cliff & inform her you had an outstanding warrant from 1966!!! ![]()
Comments: I'm feelin' the Love on this GB now...nice roses, SNL. Here's what a small world is all about. My daughter just bought a house up in the hills between nowhere and nowhere (Corona area of Calif.) Her next door neighbor is a county sheriff. It came up that I am from Dallas and the wife asked which part. Darci said she just knew I went to SOC. "Shut-Up"..says the wife. She's a SOC 78 grad.
Comments: Wilmer, Happy belated B-Day. Lots of good memories of baseball in your field next door and christmas tree forts. We are in for more snow today. 22 or more inches are expected. I think VA has moved to the Cheeseheads weather area. |
