Comments: Toni, that's funny , what happened when you stomped on your brakes. I bought a used truck once, when I started cleaning the interior I found $12.87 under the seats and a wrist watch. I am back from Vancouver, Washington now. The temp was 55* in the morning and warmed up to 63* by 2pm. that's quite a difference from Texas but I'm still glad to be home.
Comments: Don L - What wonderful news regarding your brother Doug!!!  EXCELLENT!! Will keep him & family in prayers for continued improvement & regaining his strength, weight & hair! JD - We're not gng to actually eat at 4:30!  But when you have a crowd of people it takes time to get a tally, travel to the restaurant & get seated. Now stop stirring up trouble or I'll make sure you do get the Sr menu next time!

Comments: We received some very good news from my brother, Doug, over the weekend. His wife, Susan, posted a note on CaringBridge.org - excerpt follows: "We were in San Antonio for his 100 day check up last week. His results were very good, he is in 100% remission and has the best results expected from the chemo treatment. This is such a blessing!!!! I thank all of you for your continued prayers and ask that you remember us going forward. We will be returning to San Antonio in 3 months for PET snd CT scans and will have scheduled scans for many years. Doug is still trying to gain weight, he needs approx. 15 to 20 pounds to be at his normal weight and waiting for his hair to come back." I don't think the news could be much better. Our sincere thanks to all you 'Prayer Bears' who helped keep up the vigil, as well as kind words from many others along the way.
Comments: I should be back in town by the 28th so I will be there for the El Fenix dinner. Happy Belated BD to everyone that I have missed.

Comments: Happy B-day Charlotte & to your twin bro Charles!!! Hope Sat was a good one for you & that David treated you right!! Also Happy B-day to Betty McKee as I beleive she does lurk on here! NOTE: Mike Dunn is gng to be back in town in a few wks so he & his two older sons can take care of his Mom. They will be moving her. On Saturday 8-28 we're gng to have a little get-together so we can visit with Mike!! Details are being worked out, but reserve the afternoon of 8-28!! We'll meet to visit & have some drinks from abt 2:00 to 4:30. We'll take a headcount about 4:30 of those that want to join us for dinner at El Fenix on Belt Line @ Montfort. Mike is looking forward to some Dallas Tex-Mex!! Exact loc to meet will be posted soon!! Mike's health has improved & let's not miss the chance to visit with someone we haven't been able to see in a long time!!
