Roy had , of course, always worn cowboy boots. Dale bought him a nice pair of Italian leather loafers. Roy got a little meadow muffin on them in the horse corrals and left them on the back porch when he came in, meaning to clean them later. He forgot and left them out all night. A mountain lion smelled that new leather and just clawed and ripped them to shreds. When Roy saw the shoes it made him so mad he saddled Trigger and tracked the lion down and shot and killed it. He threw the mountain lion over his saddle and came riding into the barnyard. Pat Brady drove by in Nellie Belle and stopped and inquired  " Pardon me, Roy, Is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"

And Jack, I actually sorta had a thing for Penny on Sky King.

Man, it only takes a few days to get way behind on the GB. Happy belated birthday to Roe and Happy belated anniversary to Rod and Linda. Hope all had fun.

C'mon guys ...  I know it's the 1st day of Fall & it's all cloudy here, but Wake Up!!  Take a look at Mr. Tillery's new Grandone & kick it in gear tda!

One mo from tda, Oct 23rd, we'll be celebrating our friendship at the mini!!!  And . . .  it's not during hunting season, it's after the State Fair, it's not on TX/OU day & it's not on the BMF Golf day!!!  No excuses, everyone will be expected to be there!  We can shake off the heat of summer & start reeving-up for our 45th extravaganza in one year!!!  BTW - bring your name badges from the 40th, you won't have to wear them, but PLEASE bring them!

No Jack, all I got was that one little small pic!  I feel cheated!!

SNL, gotta ask. Did Tillery send you just the one picture of Max? Or did you get the link to the new Daddy's album like I did and get to pick from the 200 pictures of Max? Kid's not a week old and probably has more pictures than I did my whole childhood. And I was a cute kid!

Hmmm, I don't speak Pirate talk & after Smiley's last post ... I think i'll just say "Check out the Pride & Joy pg, we got another Grandone!"  We've had an explosion of Grandones lately & several more due soon.  Aren't Grandones wonderful!!
