Place: coppell Comments: What badges? We don't have no stinking badges. There was a hot mexican dish I was going to bring to the mini for all to enjoy but she had to fly back to Cancun. See all there on the 16th.
Place: 66erville Comments: Thanks, Tin Cup. It is always a pleasure to spend time with you and even better on a golf course. It is also always fun with the boys of '66, especially watching the Pool Guy wander around the course. Best line of the day was someone asking Sandy if the guy he got his HAT off of was dead or alive! The look on McGee's face was priceless. Thanks to Flyboy Hughes for coming up to be with us and for riding with the pouting Botox Kid (he did not have a good day). As always, Cold Cash Dagley stirred memories long forgotten and brought smiles all around.
Place: Richardson Comments: Now there's s/o who's getting with the program!! Tnx Linda, & in answer to your question . . . $$$!  Folks, I'm telling you . . . this reunion will not be a cookie cutter of prior reunions!! both Fri & Sat nights will be different than any previous reunion you've attended! Different in the sense we will have new & different things that haven't been done B4. One thing that will not change - - the fun & laughter you will have from getting together with old friends!!!  I'm really looking forward to seeing many of you long distance friends whom we see so seldom. Don't disappoint me!!!!
Place: Texas Comments: Ms. McMakin has a special guest(s) from CA visiting her. I've been tossing some ideas around in my head (yes, I still have a working brain) as to what to wear to the sock hop. I want to win the prize. By the way, what is it?

Place: Garland Comments: That explains why we kept getting calls for the emt's to go out to the golf course yesterday.....you guys were playing.....
Place: sand trap Comments: Cable Guy Fugate, you missed a good time yesterday.I missed the political observations of Happy Jack Hawkins, but I spent the day with Powder Puff Browning and Flyboy Hughes. Jimbo has become a player, and Cold Cash Dagley hit 7 long tee shots on the back side. Botox pouted all day. Spending the day with Cold Cash is like riding a rail car with Willie Nelson. The boy should have been a Poet. As usual, my attire was the envy of all. These dudes just don't have a taste for fashion.
Place: Marsalis Gang Comments: Jack, Fingers, Kid, Dag and Jimmie. Nothing better than losing golf balls with good friends on a beautiful day. And I thought the guy that said this was heartless, just don't take a personal check from him. Had a great time with the boys of 66 today playing golf.

Place: Calif. Comments: St. Pat's day is coming up folks. I actually proposed to Mary Ann on St. Patrick's Day and gave her a ring, but with a fake diamond (I was young). Her mother spotted it right away and came at me directly. I told her that in honor of St. Patrick's Day I gave her a sham rock. (now where's Smiley)

Mike Fugate went out to the lake to comfort & aid the parents in finding their son's body. He knows all to well how the parents feel. Good interview & great plug for the wonderful things The BMF Project does. God Bless that family & Mike for being there!!
Place: Sachse Comments: That was quite a lot of new coverage of the incident at lake Ray Hubbard. I sincerely hope it brings more interest into the plights that rescue workers are dealing with and that it will ignite more support for the BMF foundation to aid in their search rescues. |
